The Big Blue concrete float is made from carbon steel which provides a super smooth finish to concrete.
Available in various lengths, the big blue is the most popular finishing blade amongst concrete finishing professionals. Each blade is supplied with a knucklehead II tilt action gearbox for float pitch variation.
Why are big blue concrete float blades made of blue carbon steel? Carbon steel allows a certain flexibility which creates a super smooth finish to the concrete surface. Supplied with a Heavy-duty knucklehead tilt-action gearbox for float pitch variation, the angle of the Big Blue blade is controlled through this gearbox by twisting the attached poles.
The Big Blue concrete trowel knucklehead is compatible with our 45mm diameter aluminium snap-handles which can be found in the Accessories section below.
The big blue is supplied with a heavy duty knucklehead manufactured in cast alloy which gives superior performance and longevity over cheap plastic alternatives.

All Float sizes supplied complete with heavy duty knucklehead to adjust float pitch, if you already have this item the big blue blades can be purchased seperately.
The big blue can also be used for adding a textured finish to the concrete if fitted with a float adaptor this allows various brushes to be connected to your specified finish (Please order these items separately).
