With nominations open for The Tile Association Awards (TTA Awards) 2011, the best examples of concrete tamping when preparing a floor to be tiled could be in line for recognition.
A strict deadline of December 17th 2010 is in place for nominations, as the award ceremony itself is due to take place earlier than in previous years.
The projects category could be of particular interest to anyone who has undertaken high-quality concrete tamping in the past 12 months.
Awards include a title for the best technical use of tile, most innovative installation and best-use accolades in homes, leisure, housing developments and both the public and private sectors.
"The prestigious TTA Awards honour the best of the wall and floor tile industry and there will be a category that you can enter for," the association says.
A presentation ceremony for the TTA Awards 2011 is due to take place on April 2nd at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole.
