This concrete groover bit has a 1.5 inch blade and is ideal for slabs with a 6 inch slab depth.

Made from stainless steel these are used for decorative effect and also to protect the slab from random cracking from shrinkage which can occur in the period just after placement and before hardening.

Concrete professionals can control this cracking by creating grooves in the hardening concrete to help release the stress from shrinking.

This groover bit can be fitted to a 35mm snap adapter or a clevis handle to apply at the distance of your choice across the slab.
